First Deadline Passed!

Hey Everybody!!

Our first registration deadline passed, and lots of you signed up last weekend, so I just wanted to say hello and welcome.

If you've been to GR before for the marathon, you already know that we have a lot of fun here. Your marathon staff is filled with marathon runners--probably we average around 20 marathons each--so we know what we like to see in a marathon and do our best to deliver it to you.

Also, we have a new thing this year called the Marathon Minute, a weekly minute of inspiration on WOOD Radio that you can also catch on marathonminute.com. Check it out.

Summer is a great time to train--no bundling up, the water doesn't freeze in your bottle, life is good.

Registrations are at a total of 550 right now, which is substantially ahead of last year. If you have friends that are considering running, get 'em to sign up ASAP so we don't hit our limits.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all in October.
